Prayer.

Introduction:

• A Man Loves.
• A Man Takes Responsibility.
• A Man Serves.
• A Man Takes Initiative.

As the next part of our season approaches, many people have many different expectations of our team. There are expectations from outside the team, expectations from within the team, and expectations within each of you.

Let's shift our attention to this one thought - how a man loves.

We get a clear picture of how a man loves in Romans 12:9-10 (read text aloud). This will be my #1 expectation of our coaches and players.

• A man loves sincerely. Without hypocrisy - without pretending.
• A man loves by hating what is evil. Evil destroys people.
• A man holds tightly to good. Good makes others better.
• A man commits deeply to his teammates.
• A man gives preference to his teammates.
• A man honors his teammates.

This is how a man loves his family, his friends, and his teammates. Let's be this kind of men.

This is my expectation for each and for all of you.
